CHOCOLATE CARAMEL RICE KRISPIE TREATS RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

▢3 tbsp. butter ▢10 oz. mini marshmallows ▢1 tbsp. vanilla extract ▢7 cups Rice Krispies cereal ▢14 oz. caramels unwrapped ▢2 tbsp. water ▢1/2 cup creamy peanut butter ▢1 bag milk chocolate chips

STEP-1

Prepare a 9-by-13-inch pan greased and put aside. Melt the butter and miniature marshmallows in a medium container over medium heat. Once the mixture has reached a uniform regularity.

STEP-2

After removing the container from the heat, stir in the cereal thoroughly. This is combined with the greased pan.  

STEP-3

Utilizing wax paper or a spatula, distribute and flatten the mixture. Refrigerate and refrigerate.  

Step-4

Combine water and unwrapped caramels in a separate saucepan; cook over low heat, whisking continuously, until the mixture becomes smooth. Pour this over the mixture for the Rice Krispies and distribute evenly.  

Step-5

Add chocolate morsels to the final layer in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring continuously, until melted and smooth. Combine in the peanut butter until smooth. When cooled, incorporate into the caramel layer.    

Step-6

Cut chilled bars, but place them out for at least a half-hour prior to consumption so they have a softened texture. GREATLY ENJOY!
