Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large basin by sifting.
Divide the egg yolks and egg whites between two separate dishes.
Whip egg whites until stiff peaks emerge, then reserve.
Whisk together the egg yolks with the milk, oil, and vanilla until just combined. Thoroughly combine the dry ingredients with the liquid ingredients. Whip in the egg whites.
Preheat and grease the waffle iron to medium-high heat. Cook half to one-half cup batter per waffle on the iron for four to five minutes, or until crusty and browned.
When ready to serve, garnish with whipped cream, nectar, or preferred fruits.
