Recipe for Beggar Waffles

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup sugar 2 cups all-purpose flour 4 tablespoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt two eggs, large Two-cup milk 1/2 cup oil from vegetables 1 teaspoon essence of vanilla

STEP-1

Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large basin by sifting.

Divide the egg yolks and egg whites between two separate dishes.

STEP-3

Whip egg whites until stiff peaks emerge, then reserve.

Step-4

Whisk together the egg yolks with the milk, oil, and vanilla until just combined. Thoroughly combine the dry ingredients with the liquid ingredients. Whip in the egg whites.

Step-5

Preheat and grease the waffle iron to medium-high heat. Cook half to one-half cup batter per waffle on the iron for four to five minutes, or until crusty and browned.

Step-6

When ready to serve, garnish with whipped cream, nectar, or preferred fruits.
