SWEET POTATO CHILI RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

Peeled and cubed two sweet potatoes Two cans of diced stewed tomatoes seasoned with chile (14.5 oz) 1 can of tomato sauce (8 oz) Half a cup vapor 1 teaspoon of chili spice One teaspoon of powdered cumin Sprinkle of cinnamon One sprinkle each of salt and pepper 1 teaspoon powdered garlic 1 teaspoon powdered onion 1 pound of ground sirloin 1 can (12 ounces) of drained and rinsed black beans 1 can of drained maize  

STEP-1

Cube the peeled sweet potatoes. Combine with a quarter cup of water in a microwave-safe vessel and cook for four minutes.

INSTRUCTION

STEP-2

While stirring intermittently, combine sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, and all seasonings in a slow cooker on high for two hours.

STEP-3

In a large skillet, brown the beef over medium-high heat. Eliminate and drain any surplus oil.

Step-4

Black beans, cooked ground beef, and maize should be added to the slow cooker. Cook for an additional hour to two hours, or until the flavors have combined.
